POSTPILL – POSTPILL is a very effective ONE-DOSE emergency contraceptive pill that gives women a last chance to prevent pregnancy after unprotected or unplanned sex. POSTPILL contains one tablet only of 1.5 mg Levonorgestrel. W.H.O recommends that taking one dose of Levonorgestrel 1.5mg is most effective and has improved compliance & acceptability. POSTPILL is an important backup in cases of unprotected sex, or contraceptive accidents, such as forgotten pills or broken condoms. It is safe for women of all ages including adolescents and breast-feeding mothers. For best results, POSTPILL should be taken orally as soon as possible within 24 hours, but can still be taken within 3 days (72 hours) of unprotected sex.
